The Hospitality Skills Exhibition is a signature event hosted by the School of Hospitality and Catering Management at Kivuli College. It provides a platform for students to demonstrate their practical competencies in real-time settings that simulate the hospitality industry.
During the exhibition, students are grouped into themed teams where they creatively plan, prepare, and present diverse cuisines ranging from local dishes to international gourmet selections. Activities include food plating competitions, live cooking stations, and mock restaurant service—complete with reservation systems, waitstaff service, and guest experience protocols.
This event not only enhances students’ confidence, teamwork, and creativity but also gives them a real-world feel of managing a food and beverage outlet. Industry guests, alumni, and potential employers are invited to observe, interact, and provide constructive feedback.
The exhibition plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations, ensuring our trainees graduate with both theoretical knowledge and practical readiness.
